Job summary

Boundary Creek Timber, a family-owned sawmill near Bundaberg, Qld, is expanding and hiring experienced sawmill bench operators to join our team. We’re looking for people with hands-on sawmill experience and familiarity with equipment such as Grey benches and Kara benches, including breaking down saws; this isn’t an entry-level role.

We offer very competitive wages well above award rates, full-time ongoing work from 6.30am–4.30pm, a 4-day week, accommodation and relocation assistance if needed,

Qualifications

• Have solid experience operating sawmill benches or breakdown saws.
• Ability to maintain timber quality and work safely around equipment.
• Physically fit and reliable, able to work as part of a team.

Job Description

Boundary Creek Timber is a family owned sawmill near Bundaberg, Qld, who have been operating for over 20 years. We are looking to expand our operations to cope with increasing demands for our high quality products. We are looking to hire experienced sawmill bench operators to join our team.

We’re looking for people who have spent time working in sawmills and know their way around equipment such as: Grey benches Kara benches

Breaking down saws Similar sawmilling and timber processing equipment This isn’t an entry-level position.
