Job summary

Pentarch Group is seeking reliable candidates to join its Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations. You will operate mobile plant and a forklift to support production of high-quality timber products at Melawond and Imbil.

Positions cover 4-day weeks with 2pm afternoon shifts; training starts on morning shifts. A LF license and high-risk forklift certification are required, with a strong safety mindset and team orientation essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move, load and unload product.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Sort and strap loads and keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Perform general labouring duties and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Enter data in inventory/database systems.
• Maintain health and safety focus across the site.

Work at our large timber-mills in either Imbil or Melawondi, south of Gympie operating forklifts to assist with production.

About the Position

We are seeking candidates with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join our Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations. You will operate mobile plant to assist in our production processes of high-quality timber products.

We are looking for candidates interested in the positions at Melawondi & Imbilcovering 4 day weeks with afternoon shifts from 2pm. Please note you will be required to start on morning shifts for training purposes.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• The use of a forklift (LF License Required) to move, load and unload product
• Daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections.
• Sorting and strapping loads
• General labouring duties including ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris on an ongoing basis.
• Inventory management and database entry
• Having a constant focus on health & safety across all areas of our site.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in operating a Forklift or is essential.
• A high-risk forklift licence is essential.
• A positive attitude at work, whilst being reliable and punctual.
• A strong commitment to safety is essential.
• Knowledge of the timber industry is favourable.
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard.
