Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking an SAP Application Test Engineer for a 12 + 24 month contract with a Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, QLD. You will execute test cases, develop test plans, and report results across SAP CRM and SAP S/4 HANA environments.

Candidates with PEGA, M204 and experience with API, Postman, Optim and Mainframe testing are encouraged. Prior government or large-scale organisation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience testing SAP applications in government or large-scale environments.
• Proficient with SAP CRM and SAP S/4 HANA.
• Familiar with PEGA, M204 and testing across API, Postman, Optim and Mainframe.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases at various stages of testing on appropriate testing platforms.
• Develop test plans, test cases, task cards, and supporting test data and/or requirements.
• Analyse and report on test activities and results.
• Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
• Conduct testing to ensure the ICT service functions as per requirements.
• Create test data within external software vendor environment.

Our client, a Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, QLD, that delivers a range of welfare, health, child support and other supports, requires the services of an SAP Application Test Engineer for a 12 + 24 month contract.

Duties of the SAP Application Test Engineer:

• Execute assigned test cases at various stages of testing on appropriate testing platforms.
• Develop test plans, test cases, task cards, and supporting test data and/or requirements.
• Analyse and report on test activities and results.
• Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
• Conduct testing to ensure the ICT service functions as per requirements.
• Create test data within external software vendor environment.
