A leading IT services provider is seeking a Senior Test Analyst with proven experience in SAP technologies such as S/4HANA and ECC. The role involves developing testing artefacts, coordinating testing activities, and executing test cases while ensuring adherence to standards. Candidates should possess strong methodologies knowledge and experience in full-cycle SAP implementations. Job description

Title:

Senior Test Analyst - SAP

Contract:

16 months+ likely extension

Location:

Brisbane CBD (Hybrid work)

Open to interstate candidates, subject to on-site attendance two days per month (on own expenses).

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Develop and maintain testing artefacts including test plans, test cases, test data, and summary reports.
• Coordinate and manage testing activities across the program, ensuring alignment with the organisation and industry standards.
• Support test estimations, mentor SMEs, and assist in implementing the overall test and assurance framework.
• Execute SAP S/4HANA test cases where required, document results accurately, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Monitor testing progress, manage test environments, and provide regular updates to the Test Manager.
• Liaise with project teams, platform teams, and suppliers to support successful delivery and continuous improvement.

Required skills and competencises

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst.
• In-depth experience with SAP technologies (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors Employee Central) and ICT infrastructure in large, complex environments.
• Strong background in testing methodologies and tools (e.g., CALM).
• Experience in at least one full‑cycle SAP implementation or major upgrade with measurable contributions to project outcomes.

Desirable

• ISTQB Foundation Level Testing Certificate.
• SAP Activate Methodology experience including fit‑to‑standard workshops and agile project delivery.
• SAP S/4HANA experience with digital core transformation and system conversions (ECC to S/4HANA migration).
• Greenfield SAP implementation experience from business blueprint through go‑live support.
