Strategic Manufacturing Solutions in Mornington is seeking a full-time Trade Manager to lead our trade sales and operations at the Mornington centre. You will drive stock management, pricing support and collaboration with external BDMs to grow business.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade sales and administration is essential.

Strategic Manufacturing Solutions – Mornington VIC

Ultimate Tiles are a market leader in the supply of tiles and building products to the Victorian market.

We are a well-established business in supply of building materials and are a major supplier to some of the larger domestic and retail building projects in Victoria.

Due to our growth strategies, we are looking for a full-time Trade Manager at our sales Centre in Mornington.

Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our trade sales and operations department. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for trade sales, operational performance, inventory management and your will work closely with our external BDMs.

Training will be available to the successful candidate, and an excellent remuneration package is on offer for this role including a fully maintained company vehicle.

To be considered as a candidate for this exciting position, you will need:

• A strong understanding of the building and construction industry would be an advantage.
• Experience in sales and administration systems of work
• Experience with Clear Tile software would also be an advantage in this role.
• An excellent understanding of stock management, including stocktakes, procurement and customer account management.
• Drive internal product sales with tilers and builders and assist with price files management.
• Engage in social media initiatives to generate sales and enhance brand awareness.
• Generate leads for internal and external sales teams to drive business growth.
• Report on sales performance and KPIs using the HubSpot and the Clear Tile platforms and report to our operations manager.
• A strong understanding of customer sales and working with builders and trades.
• Warehouse and logistics experience would be an advantage
• Trade experience in the tile supply industry would also be an advantage.
• Laise with builders, retail and trade customers
• Liaise with management and our marketing team.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to achieve financial targets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage incoming phone calls.
• Ability to work within a dynamic leadership team.
• Coordinating with suppliers and our procurement team
• A strong understanding of the principles of the building supply industry, would also be an advantage.
