Job summary

Beaumont Tiles in Sydney's western suburbs is seeking a Retail Trade Specialist to develop and manage relationships with trade customers, grow sales opportunities, and position Beaumont Tiles as the preferred supplier for trade products and services in your local market.

Reporting to the Store Manager in Wetherill Park, you will identify opportunities, prepare quotations, follow up leads, and deliver outstanding service to builders, tilers and renovators, helping projects succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade sales, retail sales, account management, customer service or business development.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to prepare quotes, follow up opportunities and close sales.
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with builders, tilers, renovators, developers and trade contractors.
• Identify and convert new trade opportunities.
• Manage and grow existing trade customer accounts.
• Prepare quotations, project pricing and competitive offers.
• Actively network within the local building and construction community.
• Follow up project opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Provide expert advice across tiles, flooring, bathroomware and trade products.
• Collaborate with showroom team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

We're looking for a motivated and commercially minded Retail Trade Specialist to join our Wetherill Park team. This is a customer-focused sales role where you'll build strong relationships within the local trade community, identify new business opportunities, and help trade customers achieve successful project outcomes.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in growing Beaumont Tiles' trade business while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

About the Role

As the Retail Trade Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and managing relationships with trade customers, growing sales opportunities, and positioning Beaumont Tiles as the preferred supplier for trade products and services within your local market.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building strong relationships with builders, tilers, renovators, developers and trade contractors
• Identifying and converting new trade business opportunities
• Managing and growing existing trade customer accounts
• Preparing quotations, project pricing and competitive offers
• Actively networking within the local building and construction community
• Following up project opportunities and maintaining a sales pipeline
• Providing expert advice across tiles, flooring, bathroomware and trade products
• Collaborating with the showroom team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
• Supporting trade customers from enquiry through to project completion
• Maintaining strong product knowledge and keeping up to date with industry trends
