Job summary

You will prepare accurate quotations, manage customer inquiries by phone, Teams and email, and support Business Development Managers to keep deals moving.

The role

The sales support function plays a key role within the Chemical & Industrial sales team, working closely with the Business Development Managers (BDMs) to manage the enquiry-to-quote process, maintain strong customer relationships by phone, Teams and email and ensure customers receive timely, accurate quotations. This role is central to the smooth running of the sales team, helping BDMs focus on business development while ensuring no enquiry or customer is left waiting.

Key areas of responsibilities

• Sales Support and Quotations - Supporting the BDM's by preparing and completing accurate quotations in line with customer requirements and product and pricing guidelines.
• Contract management - Maintaining accurate and up to date customer information and orders details on internal CRM (Salesforce), ERP system and Client Portals.
• Customer Engagement - Answering customer enquiries within target response times and following up requirements while building strong working relationships.
