Job summary

Discover Mackay is seeking a Service Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of customers, improving uptime and performance with tailored service and aftermarket solutions. You will visit sites across your territory and work with service technicians to expand your territory and pipeline.

The role emphasises building trusted relationships, strong communication and problem-solving, with a focus on commercial results and growth in a technical environment.

Qualifications

As a Service Sales Representative you'll manage and grow a portfolio of customers, helping them improve uptime and performance through tailored service and aftermarket solutions.

Supporting customers across mining, industrial and production environments, you will play a key role in helping maximise uptime, reduce costs and improve equipment reliability.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and growing an existing customer base
• Selling service agreements, parts & aftermarket solutions
• Identifying opportunities to improve customer equipment performance
• Building trusted, long-term relationships
• Conducting regular site visits and engaging face-to-face with customers across your territory
• Working closely with service technicians and internal teams
• Developing your territory and pipeline

About the Candidate

• Experience in sales, customer service or account management
• A natural ability to build relationships and earn trust
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Commercial thinking and drive to achieve results
• Motivation to learn and grow in a technical environment
• Highly regarded but not essential: Experience in mining, compressed air, or industrial environments, including HVAC, pumps, or mechanical/electrical systems
