Job summary

Milwaukee Tool Australia & New Zealand is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive growth across Wollongong and surrounding construction markets. Through product demonstrations, technical know-how and strong relationships, you will increase market share in your territory.

Reporting to the Construction State Lead, you will own your region, build partnerships with customers and stakeholders, and pursue new business opportunities while promoting Milwaukee’s brand and culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to seek out and convert opportunities with a hunter mindset.
• Experience in trade, tooling, construction, field sales or end-user sales preferred.
• Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and manage territory.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM systems is desirable.
• Hold a full driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Present Milwaukee products and solutions to the construction industry, including Tier 1 companies.
• Aggressively expand market share by converting end users to Milwaukee products.
• Collaborate with vertical specialists for best outcomes and alignment.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM to support and improve conversion rates.
• Be proactive and develop in line with the company's competency framework.
• Promote Milwaukee culture and high-performing sales standards across the team.
• Support the Milwaukee team in driving brand presence in the territory.
• Overnight travel required occasionally.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive Milwaukee's growth across the Wollongong and surrounds construction market. Through product demonstrations, technical expertise and strong relationship building you will help drive conversion from existing brands and expand market share within your territory.

Reporting to the Construction State Lead, you will take ownership of your region, developing strong partnerships with customers and key industry stakeholders while identifying new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a trade or sales background, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering results. You'll be proactive, customer-focused, and motivated by building long-term relationships and growing the Milwaukee brand.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively present Milwaukee products and solutions to the construction industry - Tier 1 companies.


• Aggressively acquire market share across all product categories in the assigned geographical region by converting end users to Milwaukee products.


• Work closely with other vertical specialists to achieve best outcomes and mission alignment.


• Ensure Salesforce CRM is regularly updated and maintained to help support and improve conversion rates.


• Have the willingness to learn and develop in line with the company's competency framework.


• Be and promote being a high performing sales professional within the Milwaukee business.


• Support the broader Milwaukee team in embedding the Milwaukee culture throughout the entire organisation.


• Overnight travel is required on occasions.

About you
