Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions - Australia is seeking an in-store Customer Service Representative to assist local customers and farmers with product questions, pricing, and friendly service. Based in Albury, NSW, you will help ensure accurate stock and smooth store operations.

You will manage inventory, take orders, process payments, and support promotional activities while keeping a welcoming environment and strong customer relationships. Training and incentives accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service with a positive approach.
• Exposure to farming or agriculture and willingness to learn.
• Retail sales or customer service experience advantageous.
• Self-motivated with ability to nurture strong customer relationships.
• Willing to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales; confident with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, order goods, receive deliveries, and arrange dispatches using store systems to ensure stock accuracy.
• Process counter sales accurately, handle payments, and answer customer inquiries.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Support promotional activities, setting up signage and displays to boost product visibility.
• Keep the store tidy and welcoming and greet all customers warmly.
• Load/unload trucks, unpack deliveries, and prepare orders for dispatch with care.
• Occasionally deliver products directly to farms, ensuring timely and professional service.

What You’ll Bring?

• You must demonstrate a passion for customer service as well as a positive approach and the determination to succeed
• Ideally you will have exposure to or a strong passion in farming and agriculture with the enthusiasm to learn about new products
• Previous success in a retail sales or customer service role is highly advantageous
• You will be a self‑motivated person capable of nurturing and sustaining strong customer relationships with the ability to follow through and “get the job done” in a fast‑paced environment
• You will be keen to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales, and be confident using computer software systems such as SAP
• You will have a current driver’s license and ideally a forklift ticket (Desirable)
