Nutrien Ag Solutions is hiring for a customer service/merchandise role at our Mitchell branch in Queensland. You will assist customers, handle sales, and support day-to-day store operations in a team-focused environment.

We value strong communication, problem-solving, and a genuine interest in agriculture. A current driver’s licence is required, forklift licence is a plus, and you’ll contribute to a safe, welcoming store.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, retail, sales support or merchandise environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Sound computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Interest in agriculture, livestock or rural communities.
• Current driver’s licence; forklift licence highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Process sales and assist customers with product and pricing inquiries.
• Perform general administrative duties including stock control.
• Support receival, dispatch and movement of goods.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming store environment.
• Assist with telephone and reception enquiries.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare customer orders.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers, building strong relationships and supporting the day-to-day operations of our Mitchell branch. Our customers range from local farmers and primary producers to trade and retail customers, and you'll be the friendly face that helps ensure every interaction is a positive one.

• Providing exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone
• Processing sales and assisting customers with product and pricing enquiries
• Performing general administrative duties, including stock control and inventory management
• Supporting the accurate receival, dispatch and movement of goods
• Maintaining a safe work environment and following company safety procedures
• Assisting with telephone and reception enquiries
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming store environment
• Loading and unloading trucks, unpacking deliveries and preparing customer orders
