Job summary

Medtronic, based in Newcastle, NSW, seeks a Sales & Mapping Representative to drive adoption of electrophysiology mapping and navigation tech. You will support physicians and hospital teams, promoting Cardiac Ablation Solutions while achieving sales objectives across capital and consumables.

You will bring 8+ years in sales or clinical settings, strong EP mapping knowledge, and be able to travel as required to support territory across Australia.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales or clinical roles in cardiac mapping.
• Experience with 3D electrophysiology mapping systems.
• Travel readiness with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support to physicians on electrophysiology mapping and ablation technologies.
• Deliver product education and training to physicians and hospital staff.
• Promote safe and effective use of Cardiac Ablation Solutions products and procedures.
• Achieve or exceed territory sales objectives across capital equipment and consumables.

• Partner with Marketing, Training & Education, Business Development and leadership to advance sales.

• Act as regional SME and support broader proficiency in electrophysiology mapping.

A Day in the Life

Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) provides cardiac mapping and ablation technologies used to diagnose and treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The portfolio includes advanced ablation catheters, electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems, and related products that support electrophysiology procedures and improve patient outcomes.

Based in Newcastle, New South Wales (NSW), this role supports customers across the territory while partnering closely with clinical, commercial and cross-functional teams. The position reports to the Mapping Specialist Manager, Cardiac Ablation Solutions.

As a Sales & Mapping Representative, you will support the adoption and utilisation of electrophysiology mapping and navigation technology while driving sales growth across the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio. This role combines clinical expertise, technical support and commercial accountability to help customers deliver effective electrophysiology procedures and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and hospital teams on electrophysiology mapping, navigation and cardiac ablation technologies.

• Deliver product education and training to physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on cardiac ablation products and related procedures.

• Promote the safe and effective use of Cardiac Ablation Solutions products and associated clinical procedures.

• Achieve or exceed territory sales objectives across both capital equipment and consumable product portfolios.

• Develop and strengthen customer relationships to identify and secure incremental business opportunities.

• Partner with Marketing, Training & Education, Business Development and commercial leadership to advance sales opportunities and customer adoption.

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver customer training programs for mapping and cardiac ablation technologies.

• Act as a regional subject matter resource, sharing expertise and supporting broader proficiency in electrophysiology mapping technology.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 8+ years of sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

• Demonstrated experience supporting the adoption and utilisation of advanced 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.

• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and complex electrophysiology ablation procedures to operate as a technical support expert.

• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel interstate as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both consumable and capital equipment sales.
