Job summary

Medtronic Brisbane seeks a Sales & Mapping Representative to expand the use of electrophysiology mapping and ablation technologies within the assigned territory. You will work with clinical specialists and sales teams to drive customer success and adoption of Cardiac Ablation Solutions.

You will combine commercial acumen with clinical knowledge to support healthcare professionals across the customer journey, enabling portfolio growth and improved access to advanced EP solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales or clinical roles related to cardiac mapping.
• Experience with 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel interstate.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and healthcare teams during electrophysiology procedures with expert mapping and ablation guidance.
• Educate clinicians and staff on product applications and workflows.
• Champion safe and effective use of Cardiac Ablation Solutions products across accounts.
• Identify and progress opportunities to increase product utilisation and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Business Development and sales leadership to drive engagement.
• Coordinate and support customer training initiatives for mapping technologies.
• Share expertise and support ongoing electrophysiology knowledge development.

A Day in the Life

Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) delivers technologies that support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The portfolio includes electrophysiology mapping platforms, navigation technologies, cardiac ablation catheters, and complementary solutions designed to support procedural efficiency and improve clinical outcomes for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures.

This position is based in Brisbane, Queensland and supports customers throughout the assigned territory. Working closely with clinical specialists, sales colleagues, and cross-functional partners, you will contribute to customer success, technology adoption, and business growth across the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Cardiac Ablation Solutions.

As a Sales & Mapping Representative, you will play a key role in expanding the use of electrophysiology mapping and ablation technologies within your territory. Combining commercial acumen with clinical and technical expertise, you will support healthcare professionals throughout the customer journey while helping drive portfolio performance and improving access to advanced electrophysiology solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support physicians and healthcare teams during electrophysiology procedures through expert clinical and technical guidance on mapping, navigation, and ablation technologies.
• Educate and train clinicians, hospital staff, and key stakeholders on product applications, procedural workflows, and best practices.
• Champion the safe, effective, and appropriate use of Cardiac Ablation Solutions products across customer accounts.
• Identify, develop, and progress opportunities that increase product utilisation and expand customer partnerships.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Training & Education, Business Development, and sales leadership to drive customer engagement and business outcomes.
• Coordinate and support customer training initiatives that enhance proficiency with mapping and ablation technologies.
• Serve as a technical resource within the region by sharing expertise and supporting the ongoing development of electrophysiology knowledge across the team.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 8+ years of sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the adoption and utilisation of advanced 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and complex electrophysiology ablation procedures to operate as a technical support expert.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel interstate as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting both capital equipment and consumable medical device sales.
• Proven track record of delivering territory sales growth within the medical device industry.
