Job summary

Medtronic on the Gold Coast, Queensland, is seeking a Sales & Mapping Representative for Cardiac Ablation Solutions. You will support physicians and hospital teams with electrophysiology mapping and navigation technologies, while driving sales growth across capital equipment and consumables.

The role combines clinical expertise with technical support and commercial accountability to improve patient outcomes. Travel interstate and a valid driver's licence are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 8+ years of sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• Experience supporting the adoption of advanced 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and complex electrophysiology ablation procedures to operate as a technical support expert.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel interstate as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and hospital teams on electrophysiology mapping, navigation and cardiac ablation technologies.
• Deliver product education and training to physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on cardiac ablation products and related procedures.
• Promote the safe and effective use of Cardiac Ablation Solutions products and associated clinical procedures.
• Achieve or exceed territory sales objectives across both capital equipment and consumable product portfolios.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships to identify and secure incremental business opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing, Training & Education, Business Development and commercial leadership to advance sales opportunities and customer adoption.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver customer training programs for mapping and cardiac ablation technologies.
• Act as a regional subject matter resource, sharing expertise and supporting broader proficiency in electrophysiology mapping technology.

A Day in the Life
Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) provides cardiac mapping and ablation technologies used to diagnose and treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The portfolio includes advanced ablation catheters, electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems, and related products that support electrophysiology procedures and improve patient outcomes.

Based on the Gold Coast, Queensland (QLD), this role supports customers across the territory while partnering closely with clinical, commercial and cross-functional teams. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Cardiac Ablation Solutions.

As a Sales & Mapping Representative, you will support the adoption and utilisation of electrophysiology mapping and navigation technology while driving sales growth across the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio. This role combines clinical expertise, technical support and commercial accountability to help customers deliver effective electrophysiology procedures and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and hospital teams on electrophysiology mapping, navigation and cardiac ablation technologies.
• Deliver product education and training to physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on cardiac ablation products and related procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel interstate as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both consumable and capital equipment sales.
• Demonstrated success achieving territory sales targets within the medical device industry.
