Mammoet Australia in Perth seeks an experienced Sales Account Manager focused on Heavy Haulage Transport solutions across Western Australia. You will drive business growth, build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities in mining, infrastructure and major projects, collaborating with operations, tendering and project delivery teams.

Daily tasks include crafting transport solutions and quotations, meeting clients, visiting sites, and ensuring contracts align with business

Competenze

• Proven experience in account management or sales within heavy haulage, transport, logistics or project services.
• Knowledge of Main Roads WA operating guidelines for single trip OSOM and low loader transports.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Current Australian working rights.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join our Perth team, focusing on Heavy Haulage Transport solutions across Western Australia.

This role will play a key part in driving business growth, developing long-term customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across mining, infrastructure, construction and major projects sectors.

You will work closely with operations, tendering and project delivery teams to provide tailored transport and logistics solutions for heavy haulage transport opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, develop transport solutions and prepare the corresponding quotations,
• Conduct client meetings and site visits
• Collaborate with internal engineering, operational and project teams
• Manage customer accounts and maintain Client Relationship Management systems
• Support sales planning, forecasting and reporting activities
• Ensure contracts and commercial agreements align with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with Mammoet’s internal procedures and processes.

Types of Transport Projects

• Extreme Heavy Haulage (200T–400T+ cargo transport) using platform drawbar trailers,
• Ultra Heavy Haulage using steerable Drake trailers,
• Heavy Haulage using low loaders and extendable trailers,
• Project logistics and engineered transport scopes,
• SPMT-related projects and transport solutions.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in account management or sales within heavy haulage, transport, logistics or project services.
• Must possess in depth knowledge of the relevant Main Roads WA operating guidelines for single trip OSOM and low loader transports,
• Sound overall knowledge of transport operations,
• Strong communication, commercial and negotiation skills,
• Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships,
• Experience working within mining, construction, infrastructure or energy sectors preferred,
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities,
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Current Australian working rights.
