Job summary

Mammoet Australia is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join the Perth team, focusing on heavy haulage transport solutions across Western Australia. You will drive business growth by developing long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities in mining, infrastructure, construction and major projects.

You will collaborate with operations, tendering and project teams to tailor transport and logistics solutions and manage client accounts end-to-end, ensuring contracts

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management or sales within heavy haulage, transport, logistics or project services.
• In-depth knowledge of Main Roads WA OSOM and low loader transport guidelines.
• Strong understanding of transport operations and client-focused selling.

Responsibilities

• Develop transport solutions and prepare quotations for clients.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, operations and project teams.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain CRM records.
• Support sales planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure contracts and commercial agreements align with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Mammoet's procedures.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join our Perth team, focusing on Heavy Haulage Transport solutions across Western Australia.

This role will play a key part in driving business growth, developing long-term customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across mining, infrastructure, construction and major projects sectors.

You will work closely with operations, tendering and project delivery teams to provide tailored transport and logistics solutions for heavy haulage transport opportunities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Communicate with clients, develop transport solutions and prepare the corresponding quotations,


• Conduct client meetings and site visits


• Collaborate with internal engineering, operational and project teams


• Manage customer accounts and maintain Client Relationship Management systems


• Support sales planning, forecasting and reporting activities


• Ensure contracts and commercial agreements align with business objectives


• Ensure compliance with Mammoet’s internal procedures and processes.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Proven experience in account management or sales within heavy haulage, transport, logistics or project services.


• Must possess in depth knowledge of the relevant Main Roads WA operating guidelines for single trip OSOM and low loader transports,


• Sound overall knowledge of transport operations,


• Strong communication, commercial and negotiation skills,


• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships,


• Experience working within mining, construction, infrastructure or energy sectors preferred,


• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities,


• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities


• Current Australian working rights.
