Job summary

Mammoet Australia is seeking a proactive Planner to join our Planning & Logistics team in Perth. Based at Booragoon Head Office, you will coordinate personnel and equipment for shutdowns across Pilbara, ensuring resources are planned and mobilised safely and efficiently.

You’ll build jobs in SAP and Assignar, allocate personnel, and work closely with site management to deliver successful outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and/or scheduling in complex operational environments.
  • SAP and/or Assignar experience (or similar systems) is highly regarded.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to stay calm under conflicting demands.
  • High attention to detail and keeping planning data accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate equipment and personnel forecasting for a busy shutdown schedule.
  • Build jobs within the Assignar system and SAP, assign equipment.
  • Efficiently allocate personnel across internal and client systems.
  • Coordinate mobilisation/demobilisation plans for equipment and DIDO personnel.
  • Act as main point of contact for the site manager.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is looking for a proactive and analytical Planner to join our Australian Planning & Logistics team. Based in a fast-paced operational environment, you'll play a critical role in coordinating personnel and equipment for shutdowns across the Pilbara. Working closely with site management and internal teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring resources are planned and mobilised effectively, helping to deliver safe and successful outcomes for our clients.

The role is based in our Booragoon Head office within Perth on a Full-Time Monday-Friday basis.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Maintaining accurate equipment and personnel forecasting for a busy shutdown schedule
  • Building jobs within our internal personnel planning system (Assignar)
  • Efficiently allocating personnel within both our internal and client systems
  • Building jobs in SAP and assigning equipment
  • Coordinating mobilisation and demobilisation plans for equipment and DIDO personnel
  • Acting as the main point of contact for your relevant site manager
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Experience in planning and/or scheduling
  • SAP and/or Assignar experience highly regarded (or similar systems like Pronto, INX, Rapidcrews)
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm when managing conflicting operational demands
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate planning data and forecasts
  • A team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to collective success, working alongside other planners to navigate competing site priorities and ensure the most effective outcome for Mammoet's operations
  • Exposure to shutdown, maintenance or mining operations is highly regarded
