EVT Limited’s Rydges South Bank Brisbane is seeking a Sales Executive to develop new opportunities and manage an account base, with a focus on conferences and events.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will build relationships with decision makers, prospect new clients, and support budgets and forecasts to drive revenue.

About the Role

As Sales Executive, you’ll develop new sales opportunities and manage your account base to drive revenue, with a focus on conference and events. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll work to the hotel’s annual business and sales revenue plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers, meeting planners and procurement contacts within your managed accounts.
• Prospect for new conference and events clients through cold and warm calling to build a strong pipeline.
• Identify need periods and develop strategies to drive business within them.
• Support sales initiatives such as site inspections, client entertainment, familiarisations and client gifting.
• Work with the Conference and Events Coordinator and operations teams to make sure sales commitments are delivered.
• Assist with monthly reports, forecasts and budgets, working to achieve and exceed targets.
