Job summary

EVT – Entertainment | Ventures | Travel is seeking a Sales Executive for Rydges South Bank. You’ll develop new sales opportunities and manage your account base to drive revenue, with a focus on conferences and events, reporting to the Director of Sales.

You’ll build relationships with decision makers, procurements contacts, and prospects, conduct cold and warm calls, and work with events teams to deliver on sales commitments while contributing to monthly forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with decision makers, meeting planners and procurement contacts.
• Strong prospecting and pipeline development capabilities for conference and events clients.
• Good administrative and organisational skills, with database/file tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers and procurement contacts.
• Prospect for new conference and events clients through cold and warm calling.
• Identify peak periods and develop strategies to grow business within them.
• Support sales initiatives such as site inspections, client entertainment and gifting.
• Collaborate with the Conference and Events Coordinator and operations teams to deliver on sales commitments.
• Assist with monthly reports, forecasts and budgets, to achieve and exceed targets.
