Job summary

The Fresh Collective is seeking an experienced Sales & Events Manager to lead sales and event coordination at Strathfield Golf Club in Sydney. You will own the client journey from inquiry to post-event follow-up, driving new business and nurturing relationships across weddings, corporate and community events.

Reporting to the Head of Sales – NSW & ACT, you’ll balance proactive sales activity with detailed event management, building a strong local client base and delivering profitable events with

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, events, hospitality, catering, hotels or venue management
• Proven ability to build business and nurture repeat clients
• Strong event coordination skills with multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Elite or Momentus CRM is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound enquiries, prepare tailored proposals and convert leads into events
• Generate new business through outreach, referrals and networking
• Grow repeat business and manage key client relationships across all event sectors
• Conduct client meetings, venue inspections and sales presentations
• Oversee full planning process including briefs, floorplans, staffing and budgets
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless event execution
• Monitor budgets, margins and revenue opportunities
• Maintain client and event records in CRM systems
• Perform post-event follow-up and gather feedback
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities
• Prepare weekly sales activity and pipeline reports
