Job summary

Moonshadow-TQC Cruises in Port Stephens seeks a sales‑focused reservations professional to respond to sales, charters and function enquiries, understand customer requirements and present options across our fleet and onboard services.

You will build relationships with prospective clients and trade partners, prepare proposals, follow up enquiries and convert leads into bookings, coordinating deposits, contracts and event details to ensure seamless experiences from private charters to weddings and

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, tourism, hospitality, events or a similar customer-focused role
• Confidence discussing customer requirements and guiding enquiries toward a booking decision
• Strong written and verbal communication, excellent organisation

Responsibilities

• Respond to sales, charters and function enquiries
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for private charters, weddings, corporate events, groups, daily sales and functions
• Build relationships with prospective customers, businesses, event organisers and trade partners to generate enquiries and bookings
• Discuss customer requirements, including dates, passenger numbers, catering, accessibility, entertainment and event arrangements
• Prepare professional proposals and quotations using approved packages, pricing and templates
• Follow up enquiries and convert suitable leads into confirmed bookings
• Recommend catering, beverage and event options to improve customer experience and booking value
• Coordinate deposits, contracts, menus, schedules, run sheets and final passenger numbers
• Prepare complete operational handovers for reservations, accounts, catering, vessel operations, masters and crew
