Job summary

Glenvill Homes is seeking a Sales Estimator to join our interior design and showroom team, delivering accurate pricing for customer selections, upgrades and variations throughout the pre-construction journey.

You will review documentation, liaise with designers and sales consultants, obtain supplier quotes, and maintain pricing schedules to support our award-winning residential build process. This hybrid role offers a modern Docklands-style workplace and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential estimating, ideally in sales estimating, variations, selections, contracts administration or pre-construction.
• Strong understanding of residential building products, upgrades and customer selections.
• Experience pricing variations, upgrades and customised customer requests.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Databuild and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate pricing for customer selections, upgrades and variations.
• Review and assess selections documentation generated through Interior Design appointments.
• Ensure all customer selections, upgrades and contract inclusions are accurately captured and costed.
• Liaise with Interior Designers, Sales Consultants and internal stakeholders to resolve pricing queries.
• Obtain supplier quotes and pricing for selected products and customised requests.
• Maintain and update pricing schedules across upgrade and selections ranges.
• Prepare variation pricing and amendments throughout the pre-construction process.
• Review plans, specifications and supporting documentation to ensure pricing accuracy.
• Manage multiple estimating requests while meeting required turnaround times.
• Provide reporting and workflow documentation as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance estimating accuracy and customer experience.

About You

• Previous experience within residential estimating, ideally in sales estimating, variations, selections, contracts administration or pre-construction.
• Strong understanding of residential building products, upgrades and customer selections.
• Experience pricing variations, upgrades and customised customer requests.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Databuild and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ClickHome, Bluebeam or similar software is highly regarded.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret residential plans, specifications and selections documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple teams.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
