Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will deliver technical solutions, conduct product demonstrations, prepare quotations, and maintain CRM. This role offers a work-from-home setup with incentives.

Qualifications

• Proven sales record in electrical or data installation sectors.
• Knowledge of electrical products and markets.
• Ability to travel and work autonomously.
• Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts through regular face-to-face visits, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Deliver technical presentations for customers ranging from end users to specifying engineers and electrical consultants.
• Interact with customers, engineers and internal sales to understand product and system requirements.
• Recommend improved materials and cable management solutions that reduce costs or lift production for customers.
• Prepare quotations and proposals in conjunction with the local BDM.
• Maintain CRM with visits, wins/losses, quotes, and market intelligence.
• Report on competitor activity and market trends to the National Sales Manager.
• Represent the organisation at trade shows and industry events as needed.

This Global Group is looking for a driven Sales Engineer to represent their range of electrical and cable management products across the AUS/NZ market.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll be the face of the business for existing and prospective customers — building relationships, growing key accounts, and bringing technical solutions to the table.

What you will be responsible for:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts through regular face-to-face visits, presentations and product demonstrations
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations for customers ranging from end users to specifying engineers and electrical consultants
• Talking directly with customers, engineers and our internal sales team to understand product and system requirements
• Recommending improved materials and cable management solutions that reduce costs or lift production for customers
• Preparing clear, professional quotations and proposals in conjunction with your local BDM
• Keeping the CRM up to date daily — visits, wins, losses, quotes, and market and competitor intelligence
• Reporting on competitor activity and market trends to the National Sales Manager
• Representing the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events as needed

What you will need:

• A current driver's licence
• Industry experience in electrical and Data installations sectors.
• A proven track record in sales
• Solid knowledge of electrical products and markets
• The ability to work independently and manage your own time
• A professional approach, and willingness to follow company protocols and quality procedures
