Job summary

Ploomo, a fast-growing international fintech, is hiring a Sales Development Representative in Toorak, Melbourne. You will help keep the sales pipeline moving through outbound calls, timely follow-ups and precise CRM records.

Ideal candidates communicate fluently in English and Mandarin, excel at high-volume outreach, and stay organized with repeatable daily tasks. Office-based role with Monday–Friday hours in Melbourne, Australia.

Compensation

$65,000–$85,000 base + Monthly Bonus (OTE ~$90,000–$100,000)

What You'll Do

• Reconnect with existing leads through high-volume outbound calls.
• Follow up consistently across your assigned leads to keep deals progressing and prevent missed opportunities.
• Work through structured daily task lists and repeatable CRM activities accurately and consistently.
• Log every interaction, keep records current and accurately track deal progress.
• Support the Head of Lending APAC by completing assigned follow-ups and tasks.

Who We're Looking For

You enjoy phone-based customer contact and can stay organised through repetitive daily work; this role centres on outreach and sales coordination rather than people management or sales strategy.

Must-haves

• Fluent English and Mandarin.
• Ability to sustain high-volume outbound calling and consistent lead follow-up, including when contact attempts are unsuccessful.
• Strong organisation and follow-through: you can work through structured task lists and complete assigned activities reliably.
• Accurate record-keeping, with the ability to log conversations and maintain current CRM activity and deal status.
• Experience in call centres, customer service, sales support, hospitality or retail involving frequent customer contact.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working independently in a hands-on support role, completing outreach, follow-ups and CRM tasks for a sales leader.
