Dotdigital, Australia-based, is seeking a Business Development Representative to join the APAC team from Melbourne or Sydney. You will generate outbound leads, qualify inbound opportunities and pass SQLs to Account Executives, collaborating with Marketing and local teams.
You should have 2+ years as a BDR/ SDR, a proven quota track record in SaaS or marketing tech, and strong communication. This is a high-activity, autonomous role shaping the ANZ GTM approach.
Dotdigital is an all-in-one customer experience and data platform (CXDP) used by marketing teams around the world. Brands use Dotdigital to unify and segment their customer data, then automate personalised journeys across email, SMS, WhatsApp, web, push, social, ads and more, with AI built in.
We're a global team that values innovation, teamwork and putting clients first. We're now growing our team in APAC, and this role is a big part of that.
You'll be the first Business Development Representative in our APAC team, based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a chance to build something: you'll shape how we prospect in ANZ, and set the standard for the BDRs who join after you.
You’ll have a monthly SQL target, with commission paid on SQLs accepted by Sales. You’ll report to the Head of Sales APAC and work closely with our team of Account Executives and local Marketing.
AI is part of how modern sales teams work, and you’re welcome to use it in your application, as long as it supports you rather than doing the work for you. Use it to research Dotdigital, prepare for interviews or sharpen your writing, but make sure the experience, examples and numbers you share are your own. In interviews and role-plays we want to hear from you directly, so please don’t use live AI assistance in those conversations.
Dotdigital is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from everyone and make hiring decisions without regard to race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, intersex status, age, disability, marital status, family or carer's responsibilities, pregnancy, breastfeeding, religion, political opinion, national extraction or social origin. If you need any adjustments during the application or interview process, please let us know and we'll support you.
You must have the right to work in Australia to apply for this role.
