Koala Living is seeking a Sales Consultant to bring customers' interior dreams to life. You will help customers select furniture and materials, provide expert styling advice, and build lasting connections in-store.

The role requires weekend availability and a background in retail sales within interiors or related fields. You will quote customers to close sales, work closely with the team to hit KPIs, and use our in-house systems to manage orders and customer details, contributing to a premium,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in retail sales, preferably in interior design, furniture or related sales.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Background in interior design/styling a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to listen, connect with customers and respond with warmth and confidence.

What do you do as a Sales Consultant at Koala Living?

Using your passion for interiors, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our customers' dreams to life. Whether it's helping them select the right furniture piece, assisting with selecting materials you will collaborate closely to create their ideal space.

Build genuine connections with customers to understand their style and recommend curated solutions.

Provide expert advice on furniture, textures, and design pairings to help customers transform their spaces.

Engage with clients in-store, ensuring every interaction feels personal and professional.

Confidently provide quotes to our customers to convert opportunities into successful sales.

Work closely with your team to meet and exceed team KPI's.

Use our in-house systems to accurately process sales and manage customer details.

Must be available on weekends.

A background in retail, interior design/styling and customer-facing roles.

Over 2 years in retail sales experience, within an interior design, furniture or related sales focused role is preferred.

A natural flair for design, detail, and trends in interiors.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’re someone who listens, connects, and responds with warmth and confidence.

Drive and motivation to achieve goals in a supportive team environment.
