Job summary

Allflo Pumps and Equipment in Shepparton (VIC) is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our internal sales team. This role focuses on handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations and progressing sales opportunities.

A Business/Commerce/Marketing/Management degree is preferred, with exposure to CRM and cross-functional teams. You’ll work alongside experienced sales and technical staff to develop product knowledge and build strong customer relationships, with a clear path toward broader

What you’ll be doing

• Responding to inbound customer and sales enquiries

• Understanding customer requirements and helping identify suitable solutions

• Researching products and applications with support from the sales and technical teams

• Preparing professional quotations and proposals

• Following up open quotes and progressing sales opportunities

• Making outbound calls to new, existing and inactive customers

• Identifying new projects and sales opportunities

• Booking customer meetings and site visits for the sales team

• Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information in our CRM

• Learning from experienced salespeople through customer meetings, sales calls and occasional site visits

• Building your commercial, product and application knowledge through ongoing training and experience

The role combines inbound sales, proposal preparation, quote follow-up and proactive outbound business development.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Management or a related discipline

• Wants to develop a long-term career in sales and business development

• Is confident communicating with customers by phone and email

• Has strong written and verbal communication skills

• Is commercially minded and interested in understanding how businesses operate

• Is organised, proactive and follows opportunities through

• Is curious and willing to learn technical products and applications

• Is comfortable using CRM, Microsoft 365 and other business systems

Previous sales, customer service or industrial experience is advantageous, but not essential.
