Job summary

Haymes Paint Abbotsford is looking for a part-time Store Sales Assistant to join our friendly team. You will assist both trade and retail customers with colour advice, tinting, and product selection while maintaining store presentation and stock levels.

In this hands-on role you’ll help customers find the right products, support visual displays, and handle store orders. A driver’s licence and willingness to learn are essential for local deliveries and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Willingness to learn, grow and develop with Haymes Paint.
• Must have a driver’s licence to make local deliveries.
• Experience with stock handling and merchandising.
• Confidence to perform manual tasks (lifting up to 15kg).
• Point of Sales (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy.
• Paint trade experience is highly regarded but not essential.

• Inventory control (goods receiving/stocktaking), stock replenishment
• Take orders in-store and by phone
• Build strong relationships with repeat customers in store and fellow colleagues
• Assist with visual displays, store presentation and general house-keeping
• Comply with safe work practices

Haymes Paint Abbotsford is looking for a Part-Time Store Sales Assistant to join our friendly and customer-focused team. Working 56 hours per fortnight, you'll support both trade and retail customers, delivering exceptional service while sharing your knowledge and passion for colour, paint, and project solutions.

In this hands-on role, you'll help customers find the right products for their needs, provide colour advice, assist with paint tinting, maintain store presentation, and contribute to creating a positive in-store experience every day.
