Nutrien Ag Solutions in Victoria is seeking a Sales Agronomist to support pasture-based farming systems across Euroa and surrounds. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will deliver practical agronomic advice, product knowledge and sales support to existing clients while driving new business opportunities on farm and in-store.

You will build lasting client relationships, share market insights, run field days, and stay current with best practice agronomy.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in agronomy or related field.
• Good understanding of rural producers' needs, product knowledge and production requirements.
• Strong customer service, organisation, administration and computer skills.
• Confidence managing sales activity, customer calls and follow‑up.
• Experience supporting pasture-based farming systems preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in agricultural science or related field, plus a current driver’s licence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region, with product sales both in store and on farm.
• Build solid and long-term client relationships, developing a strong understanding of clients’ business goals.
• Share technical and market information to help clients improve the performance and sustainability of their pasture-based farming enterprises.
• Maintain relationships with an existing customer base, with room to target new clients through practical sales support and pasture agronomy advice.
• Keep current with the latest plant production practices.
• Run and coordinate field days and farmer meetings, positioning yourself as the go-to subject matter expert in the region for pasture production agronomy and related advice.

What You'll Do:

• A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field, plus a current driver’s licence
