Nutrien Ag Solutions in Euroa is seeking a Sales Agronomist to provide practical agronomic advice and product knowledge to our existing client base in Euroa and the surrounding area. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will help farmers maximise pasture production while growing in-store and on-farm sales.

You’ll build long-term relationships, stay current with best practice, coordinate farmer meetings and field days, and contribute to a supportive team that values safety, integrity and customer

Formación

• At least 2 years' experience in agronomy.
• Sound understanding of rural producers' needs, including products, seasonal timings and production requirements.
• Good customer service, organisation, administration and computer skills.
• Confidence managing sales activity, customer calls and follow‑up.
• Experience supporting pasture-based farming systems is preferred.
• A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field, plus a current driver’s licence.

• Build solid and long‑term client relationships, developing a strong understanding of clients' business goals.
• Share technical and market information to help clients improve the performance and sustainability of their pasture-based farming enterprises.
• Maintain relationships with an existing customer base, with room to target new clients through practical sales support and pasture agronomy advice.
• Keep current with the latest plant production practices.
• Run and coordinate field days and farmer meetings, positioning yourself as the go-to subject matter expert in the region for pasture production agronomy and related advice.
