Job summary

Sahtein is seeking a confident, friendly Bartender to join our The Rocks team on a casual basis. You will work in a bustling restaurant, crafting high-quality beverages and engaging guests to ensure memorable dining experiences.

Requirements include prior bartending experience in a busy setting, strong cocktail skills, NSW RSA, excellent communication, and availability for evenings and weekends. Lebanese/Middle Eastern flavour knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a busy restaurant or bar.
• Strong cocktail-making skills and broad beverage knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.
• High level of organization and time management.
• NSW RSA certificate required.
• Evening and weekend availability is essential.
• Lebanese or Middle Eastern flavours knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with consistency.
• Assist with daily stock management and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Provide expert beverage recommendations and drive sales through guest engagement.
• Support restaurant operations and collaborate with the floor team.
• Follow bar procedures, opening/closing, and stock batching.
• Maintain calm and professional attitude during high-pressure services.
