Job summary

CPB Contractors Pty is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead the development and continuous enhancement of our health and safety framework. Based in Melbourne, you will partner with leaders across the business to ensure compliance, minimise risk, and foster a proactive safety culture on a major data centre project.

You will lead workplace safety programs, conduct audits and risk assessments, manage investigations, and mentor a team of safety professionals while driving wellbeing

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in health and safety roles.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing risk, compliance and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety framework aligned with objectives.
• Lead safety programs, audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and standards.
• Manage incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders and employees.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare executive reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of health and safety professionals.
• Drive wellbeing initiatives and continuous improvement.
