Job summary

AgriWest is seeking a Sales Support Merchandise & Administration team member at the Cooma branch. In this full-time role, you will support customers, drive in-store sales, handle merchandise across rural products, and provide essential branch administration support.

You’ll work with a friendly, collaborative team and report to the Branch Manager, helping deliver outstanding service to local farmers and trade customers while maintaining stock and shop presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales, customer service or warehousing environment.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to build long-term customer relationships.
• Energetic, can-do attitude with initiative and problem-solving approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries with empathy and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional advice and support to customers.
• Assist customers with product enquiries, pricing, and sales transactions.
• Process counter sales and customer orders.
• Complete branch administration including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching goods.
• Manage inventory, pick and pack customer orders, support stock replenishment.
• Assist with merchandise promotions and campaign activity.
• Complete on-farm deliveries when required.
• Load and unload trucks, unpack deliveries, and maintain stock records.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-presented store environment.
• Support the wider team with day-to-day branch operations.
