Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Junior Internal Sales & Operations Support in Dubbo, NSW. This hands-on role blends office, warehouse, and field activities, with a clear path into a field sales position.

You will turn inquiries into quotes, follow up on leads, and help process orders while supporting stock handling and site operations. Ideal candidates have office or customer service experience, strong Excel skills, and a practical, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in office administration, front desk, or customer service.
• Excellent precision to ensure accurate quotes and orders.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to learn internal databases.
• Clear spoken and written English for farming and rural customers.
• Willingness to learn our systems, products, and industry.
• Hands-on attitude with readiness for yard duties and manual tasks.
• Willing to travel regionally, including overnight trips.
• Background in agriculture or rural commerce preferred.
• Experience in rural merchandise or similar sales support role.
• Exposure to drawing tools; training provided, prior sketching helpful.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Internal sales focus: prepare quotations for stockyards, ramps, gates, crushes and related equipment.
• Process quotes and orders, read specs, and follow up enquiries by phone/email.
• Maintain customer records and support field travel to rural stores.
