Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a reliable Storesperson / Internal Sales Support at our Dubbo branch. You will help run the warehouse while assisting customers and the sales team with enquiries, orders and service.

You’ll be hands-on, enjoy dealing with people and be prepared to jump in wherever needed to ensure great service and smooth operations in a small branch environment. Experience in warehousing or customer service is valued; basic computer skills and a willingness to learn

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Storesperson / Internal Sales Support team member to join our Dubbo branch.

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be helping keep the warehouse running smoothly while also supporting our customers and sales team with enquiries, orders and general customer service.

If you enjoy being hands‑on, like dealing with people and are happy to jump in wherever needed, this could be a great fit.

A little bit about the role

Working as part of a small branch team, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Receiving incoming goods and putting stock away
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
• Assisting with stocktakes and general inventory duties
• Serving customers at the trade counter
• Answering incoming phone and email enquiries
• Processing customer orders and following up requirements
• Providing product and availability information
• Preparing basic quotations and assisting the sales team
• Building good relationships with our customers
• Working closely with the rest of the branch team to make sure our customers receive great service

Here's a bit about you

You don't necessarily need to have done exactly the same role before. We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is willing to learn.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in warehousing, stores, customer service or internal sales
• A practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to help out
• Good communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
• Good attention to detail when processing and picking orders
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

Experience with industrial products, bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, agricultural equipment, automotive parts or a similar technical environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
