Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a customer-focused retail assistant to support farmers, traders and local customers both in-store and over the phone. You will help with product questions, pricing and stock, while keeping the store welcoming and organized in a fast-paced rural setting.

You will promote promotions, assist with deliveries and ensure safety protocols are followed. A current driver’s license is desirable, with SAP systems experience advantageous. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Passion for customer service with a positive approach.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions and pricing in-store and by phone.
• Manage inventory, orders, deliveries, and dispatches using store systems to ensure stock accuracy.
• Process counter sales accurately, handle payments, and answer customer inquiries.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment.
• Support promotional activities, setting up signage and displays to boost product visibility.
• Keep the store tidy and welcoming and greet all customers warmly.
• Load/unload trucks, unpack deliveries, and prepare orders for dispatch with care.
• Occasionally deliver products directly to farms, ensuring timely and professional service.
