Job summary

Pinky’s Restaurant on Rottnest Island, part of the G’day Group, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the Food & Beverage team, oversee service, and help deliver memorable experiences for guests.

This hands-on leadership role covers opening, service, closing, rostering, stock control, cash handling, food safety and safety standards. RSA compliant candidates with a positive, customer-focused approach are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong restaurant or Food & Beverage experience.
• Hands-on leadership style.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work in a busy hospitality environment.
• Current RSA, or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the Food & Beverage team during service.
• Overseeing smooth opening, service and closing operations.
• Supporting rostering, stock control and cash handling.
• Maintaining food safety, RSA and workplace safety standards.
• Resolving guest enquiries and issues confidently.
• Jumping in alongside the team when it gets busy.
