Job summary

Discovery-Resorts’ Pinky’s Restaurant on Rottnest Island is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to lead the Food & Beverage team through service and operations.

You’ll drive guest experiences, oversee rostering, stock control and cash handling, and maintain food safety standards while supporting a busy island hospitality environment. RSA certification required or willingness to obtain, with evening and weekend shifts.

• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong restaurant or Food & Beverage experience.
• Positive, hands-on leadership style.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• RSA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About Us

Located amongst the sand dunes of Rottnest Island, Pinky’s Restaurant offers an incredible setting for our guests and team. We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join us and help lead our Food & Beverage operations.

About the Role:

This is a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of Pinky’s, lead the team through service and help create a memorable experience for our guests.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting the Food & Beverage team during service
• Overseeing smooth opening, service and closing operations
• Delivering excellent guest experiences
• Supporting rostering, stock control and cash handling
• Maintaining food safety, RSA and workplace safety standards
• Resolving guest enquiries and issues confidently

About You:

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality supervisory experience

• A positive, hands‑on leadership style

• Confidence working in a busy hospitality environment
• Current RSA, or willingness to obtain
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
