Job summary

Pinky’s Restaurant on Rottnest Island, part of the G’day Group, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the Food & Beverage team, oversee service, and help deliver memorable experiences for guests.

This hands-on leadership role covers opening, service, closing, rostering, stock control, cash handling, food safety and safety standards. RSA compliant candidates with a positive, customer-focused approach are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong restaurant or Food & Beverage experience.
• Hands-on leadership style.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work in a busy hospitality environment.
• Current RSA, or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About Us

Located amongst the sand dunes of Rottnest Island, Pinky’s Restaurant offers an incredible setting for our guests and team. We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join us and help lead our Food & Beverage operations.

About the Role:

This is a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of Pinky’s, lead the team through service and help create a memorable experience for our guests.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting the Food & Beverage team during service
• Overseeing smooth opening, service and closing operations
• Supporting rostering, stock control and cash handling
• Maintaining food safety, RSA and workplace safety standards
• Resolving guest enquiries and issues confidently
• Jumping in alongside the team when it gets busy

About You:

You’ll ideally bring:
