Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a highly organised Rostering Coordinator to support safe, high-quality care by managing rosters across our facilities. You will coordinate staffing levels, skill mix and coverage, working with Facility Managers, Payroll and People & Culture to ensure seamless service delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration, cost-effective rostering, and data accuracy, with a focus on continuous improvement in workforce processes to support positive employee experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering or workforce coordination, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
• Familiarity with rostering systems (preferably Humanforce) and Excel proficiency.
• Understanding of awards, enterprise agreements and workforce planning principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels and compliance.
• Manage roster changes, leave coverage and vacant shifts to support continuity of service.
• Work with leaders to deliver efficient, cost-effective rostering solutions.
• Monitor workforce utilisation, overtime and agency usage for planning and cost control.
• Maintain rostering and payroll data and assist with employee queries.
• Identify opportunities to improve rostering processes and efficiency.
