Job summary

Alzheimer’s Queensland is seeking a Rostering Coordinator to support Home Care services with a rotating roster and full-time stability. You will coordinate staff rosters, manage leave and last-minute coverage, and communicate with staff, clients and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

This fast-paced role requires hands-on problem-solving, excellent communication, and a focus on delivering high-quality care across community services.

Qualifications

Rostering/scheduling experience in aged care or community services.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities.
Experience with rostering software or scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage staff rosters across community care services.
Manage leave requests, shift changes and last-minute coverage.
Communicate with staff, clients and internal teams to keep services running smoothly.
Deliver exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
Optimise rosters to balance efficiency and care quality.
Support the team to ensure reliable service delivery.
