EVT Limited is seeking a full-time Rooms Division Manager at Rydges Cronulla Beachside in Sydney. You will lead Front of House teams, collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper and Reservations, and ensure a seamless guest journey from enquiry to checkout.

You'll drive revenue growth, manage the Rooms P&L, forecast demand, and coach your team to deliver outstanding service. This is a hands-on role that requires flexible shifts and local knowledge of EVT properties.

Job description

The Opportunity

We're looking for a full-time Rooms Division Manager to lead our Front of House teams at Rydges Cronulla Beachside. Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, Maintenance Manager and Reservations team, you'll make sure every guest enjoys a seamless stay from first enquiry to check out. You'll be a visible, approachable leader who knows our regulars by name, motivates and develops your team, and steps up to oversee hotel operations in the General Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Front of House departments with a strong focus on Front Office, building a culture of exceptional guest service and acting on guest feedback to resolve issues and improve every stay
• Grow rooms revenue ahead of market through rate management, restrictions, allotments and distribution channels, working alongside the General Manager and Reservations/Revenue team
• Analyse the Rooms Division P&L, including RevPAR, average rate, occupancy and housekeeping productivity, and provide clear commentary on monthly results
• Forecast peak demand and event periods, develop packages and marketing initiatives, and assess the impact of group bookings through displacement and feasibility modelling
• Oversee fortnightly rosters while managing wage costs to forecast and budget, and coach, develop and empower your team
• Partner with Housekeeping and Maintenance to maintain room cleanliness and presentation standards, and promote Priority Guest Rewards and EVT properties to every guest

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a senior Rooms Division, Front Office or Operations leadership role within hotels
• Strong commercial acumen, including rate management, forecasting and P&L analysis
• A genuine passion for guest service, with the ability to lead from the front during peak check in and check out periods
• Confident, caring and professional communication, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts and to step up and oversee the hotel in the General Manager's absence
