Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Essendon, VIC, is seeking a Room Leader to inspire and mentor a dedicated team of educators. You will lead daily activities, ensure high standards of care, and support the learning framework across the room.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, are available 7am–6pm on weekdays, and hold a VIC Working with Children Check. A strong emphasis on growth, teamwork, and family partnerships is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher is required.
• Availability 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday on rotating rosters.
• Current VIC Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead room teams to provide a nurturing learning environment.
• Mentor and support educators to build strong foundations across the team.

At Guardian, we’re a place where people love to be.
Here’s what you’ll bring:

• An approved Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education or/and higher
• Availability between 7am – 6pm, Monday to Friday on rotating rosters.
• Current VIC Working with Children Check.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Child Protection and Food Safety Certificates.
• 2–3 years’ experience in the early childhood sector.
