Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Phillip St seeks a Room Leader to inspire children daily in a supportive, fun team. Lead the room using Guardian’s learning approach and work with educators across the network to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

You’ll engage families with milestones and actively contribute to program development. The role emphasizes professional growth, above award pay, and a culture of recognition within a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Nationally recognized Teacher’s Accreditation/Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA).
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• Completion of mandatory Child Protection training via GECCKO.
• WWCC for NSW clearly documented.

Responsibilities

• Lead a room and inspire children daily.
• Collaborate with Guardian educators across the network.
• Implement and model Guardian learning programs in the room.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of developmental activities.
• Support families by sharing milestones and learning outcomes.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Previous experience working in the early childhood sector (desirable)
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC for NSW)
