Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Croydon is seeking a Room Leader to guide a classroom, mentor staff, and deliver the Guardian learning program. You will partner with families to share milestones and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Qualifications

• Completion of national mandatory Child Protection training via GECCKO.
• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Diploma (or working towards it).
• Availability to work 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a rotating roster.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for VIC.

Responsibilities

• Lead a room and implement Guardian learning program with Educators.
• Support children's learning and wellbeing; collaborate with families.
• Work with Centre Manager to ensure smooth daily operation.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Diploma (or working towards it or working towards another ECE qualification)
• Availability to work between from 7am- 6pm, Monday to Friday, with a rotating roster
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC for VIC).

Ideal to have:

• Child Protection Certificate
• Food Safety Certificate
• Over 2-3 years of experience in the early childhood education sector
