Job summary

Astra is a rooftop bar and restaurant by voco Gosford, offering Japanese-inspired cuisine and a serious cocktail program. We seek a bartender who thrives on high-end service, theatre in pours and helping build Astra's reputation with standout guest experiences.

You'll run the bar during peak service, craft Astra's cocktail list, and contribute to menu development while maintaining presentation and RSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume and high-end bars or venues.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and technique, including classics.
• Current RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve Astra's cocktail list to a high standard on every shift.
• Bring energy, skill and showmanship to service behind the bar.
• Help develop new drinks and seasonal menus.
• Manage stock, bar setup and smooth service at full capacity.
• Build guest connections that encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain RSA compliance and bar presentation standards.
