Job summary

Randstad is staffing Industrial Electricians for a major fleet upgrade project based in Cardiff, NSW. The role focuses on maintenance upgrades for passenger trains over a two-year contract, with potential for full-time permanent positions after an initial period.

Candidates should hold Electrician qualifications and demonstrate industrial experience, teamwork, and the ability to pass a Rail Category Medical. Immediate start is available with a Cardiff workshop location.

• Industrial experience preferred.
• Must be able to commit to a 2 year project.
• Must pass a Rail Category Medical.

Join a leading provider of transport maintenance services as they embark on a major fleet upgrade contract. We are seeking multiple Industrial Electricians to deliver modern maintenance upgrades to passenger trains over a two-year project based in Cardiff. For standout candidates, there is a likelihood for Full Time Permanent Positions available after an initial 3 month period.

What We're Looking For:

• Electrician Trade Qualification and recognised Electrical Trade Certificate
• Industrial Experience preferred
• Willing and able to commit to a 2 year project
• Must be able to pass a Rail Category Medical
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent reference to support your application

What We Offer You:

• $64 - $69 / hour casual rate (day shift)
• $74 - $79 / hour (afternoon shift)
• Monday - Friday + overtime when required
• Day shift and potential for afternoon shift
• Full time permanent opportunities available
• Longevity of work - 2 year + expected project duration
• Cardiff based workshop location
