Randstad is seeking multiple Industrial Electricians for a major fleet upgrade contract based in Cardiff. The role involves delivering maintenance upgrades to passenger trains over a two-year project, with opportunities for Full Time Permanent positions after three months.

Ideal candidates will have Electrician Trade Qualification and an Electrical Trade Certificate, plus industrial experience. You must pass a Rail Category Medical and be able to commit to the two-year timeline.

Qualifications

• Electrician trade qualification and recognised Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Industrial experience preferred.
• Willing to commit to a 2 year project.
• Must be able to pass Rail Category Medical.

Responsabilités

• Deliver modern maintenance upgrades to passenger trains.
• Carry out computer system upgrades.
• Install emergency points, doors, and visual displays.
• Install CCTV and audio systems, with testing.
• Work as part of a team.

Job Description

Join a leading provider of transport maintenance services as they embark on a major fleet upgrade contract. We are seeking multiple Industrial Electricians to deliver modern maintenance upgrades to passenger trains over a two-year project based in Cardiff. For standout candidates, there is a likelihood for Full Time Permanent Positions available after an initial 3 month period.

What We're Looking For:

Electrician Trade Qualification and recognised Electrical Trade Certificate Industrial Experience preferred Willing and able to commit to a 2 year project

Must be able to pass a Rail Category Medical Strong teamwork and communication skills Excellent reference to support your application

What We Offer You:

$64 - $69 / hour casual rate (day shift) $74 - $79 / hour (afternoon shift) Monday - Friday + overtime when required

Day shift and potential for afternoon shift Full time permanent opportunities available Longevity of work - 2 year + expected project duration

Cardiff based workshop location ASAP Start
