Randstad is seeking Storepersons for a major fleet upgrade project in Cardiff, NSW. Two shifts are available: Day and Afternoon, with 2-year duration and ongoing site work supporting maintenance of passenger trains.

Successful candidates will have warehousing/dispatch experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to pass a Rail Category Medical. Join a collaborative team and contribute to a long-term project with competitive casual pay rates.

Job description

Join a leading provider of transport maintenance services as they embark on a major fleet upgrade contract. We are seeking two Storepersons (1x Day Shift & 1x Afternoon Shift) to support modern maintenance upgrades to passenger trains over a two-year project based in Cardiff.

What's Involved?

• Picking parts required for production teams

• Demonstrating the ability to think on your feet and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-tasking effectively and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure smooth operations
• Working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals

What We're Looking For:

• Relevant warehousing, stores, or dispatch experience (industrial/transport background preferred)
• High level of attention to detail for inventory accuracy and invoice checking
• Willing and able to commit to a 2-year project
• Must be able to pass a Rail Category Medical
• Strong teamwork, communication, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent references to support your application

What We Offer You:

• Competitive Casual Pay Rates:
  • Day Shift (1 position): $56 - $62 / hour
  • Afternoon Shift (1 position): $65 - $71 / hour
• Monday - Friday + overtime when required
• Longevity of work - 2-year expected project duration
• Cardiff-based workshop location
• Project starting from October with potential to onboard earlier
