Job summary

Randstad is seeking an Industrial Electrician in NSW to maintain high-tech machinery and drive automation within a collaborative, cross-functional team. You will be the go-to expert for electrical maintenance on equipment ranging from weigh-up machines to advanced dynamometers.

Location is Wetherill Park, NSW with accessible parking. The role offers a strong hourly rate of $55–$60 plus penalties, allowances and paid overtime, plus reliable payroll support and ongoing opportunities to work with

Qualifications

• Must be an A-Grade Electrician with a valid license and 3+ years of post-trade experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Familiarity with VSDs, HMIs and SCADA platforms.
• Able to work with Maintenance Fitters to troubleshoot complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-tech machinery and support automation across multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on weigh-up machines, mixers and dynamometers.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure reliability and compliance.

Location: Wetherill Park, NSW. Easily accessible, with ample parking and public transport. Hourly Rate: $55 - $60 per hour + Penalties & Shift Loadings Shifts Available: Dayshift (6:30am - 2:30pm) transitioning to a Day/Afternoon rotation (2pm - 10pm).

Apply if you have the following

• Experienced & Qualified: Must be an A-Grade Electrician with a valid license and 3+ years of post-trade experience in an industrial setting.

• Strong PLC Proficiency: Experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens (knowledge of both is highly regarded).

• Industrial Expertise: Proven experience working with VSDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to work closely with Maintenance Fitters to troubleshoot complex machinery.

• Reliability & Compliance: Must have Full Australian Working Rights and the ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen.

• Bonus Points: Open Cable Registration and knowledge of WHS Regulations.
